We’re here to help get you ready for your exciting charter. Below are some common questions we are asked. Please let us know if you need anything else. We’re happy to help.

Sea Hags II is in the marina at Montauk Yacht Club. We will send details upon booking.

  • A 50% security deposit hold (not a charge) will be placed on your credit card 48 hours before your booking starts to cover any incidental damage that may occur during your rental.

    This hold is released 48 hours after the booking is complete, if no claims are made.

  • We ask that when our guests book a boat, they should be certain that they will enjoy the boat that day.

    Once a client books a boat, we notify all subsequent inquiries that “the boat is unavailable and taken”, so for this reason we do not offer any refund on cancellations.

    If you cancel a reservation greater than 90 days away, we do allow a no-cost change of the date.

  • Prices are inclusive of boat, fuel, captain’s fee and Montauk Yacht Club Amenities.

    Gratuities for the captain/crew are in addition to the charter fee and greatly appreciated (typically 20%).

  • We suggest you bring food, snacks, and BYOB. You will need to bring plates, glasses, cups, napkins, etc. We only provide coolers and ice.

    Sunscreen, bug spray, sunglasses, hat, bathing suits and towels if you’d like to go for a swim.

    Sweater or light jackets are recommended as it’s always a bit cooler on the water than it is on land.

  • Yes, our vessel has a marine head (bathroom) with running water.

  • Our boat is licensed by the US Coast Guard to carry 6 passengers plus the captain and crew. (Please inquire about small children and babies)

  • Yes. We love kids of all ages.

  • Yes. Dogs are welcome. Please note, they must be leashed at the marina.

  • Of course, our vessel is equipped with a sound system that is Bluetooth enabled. Feel free to play your favorite playlist!

  • Yes. We only provide coolers and ice. You must bring glasses, cups, napkins, etc.

  • Yes. We do not rent gear. You must bring your own and let us know at time of booking that you would like to fish so we can plan for the best spots.

  • Absolutely! We carry life preservers, first aid kits, fire extinguishers, fire buckets, emergency radios, flares & smoke signals as required by the US Coast Guard.
